Just a few kilometres north of Frankfurt on Main, Oberursel is located on the southern slopes of the scenic Taunus Mountains.
Situated in a privileged location, Oberursel is both a charming residential town with plenty of recreation opportunities and a modern business town.

Oberursel is the ideal "bridge" between the dynamic and vibrant Frankfurt-Rhine-Main metropolitan area and the Hochtaunus nature reserve, a veritable "Gateway to the Taunus"!

In the south Oberursel borders on Frankfurt on Main, in the north on the Kolbenberg/Sandplacken in the Taunus Mountains, in the west on Kronberg and in the east on Bad Homburg vor der Höhe.
Oberursel is easily accessible by car (A 661) and train (S5 and U3).
